Carmatic is a new, US-based startup, in the dealership industry. Working in the notoriously coplex and data-heavy space, they provide software to easily search whole vehicle inventories and immediatelly calculate financing options.

Carmatic needed to translate a clear product vision into a functional web application for US car dealerships but lacked the necessary technical IT skills. We developed a solution that streamlined and accelerated deal offers, providing a comprehensive desking tool for their clients. By engaging all business stakeholders and focusing on a customer-centric approach, we enhanced application stability and performance, positioning Carmatic for future expansion.

What was the problem
Although the product vision was clear from day one, Carmatic identified that they didn’t have the level of UX and technical IT skills to bring it to life – a dealbreaker given how complex US car market solutions get.
Solution
How we solved it
Ableneo joined Carmatic at a very early stage and helped to translate the vision into a functioning web app, building it from scratch.
First steps were understanding the dealership industry – their needs, challenges and goals to better position Carmatic solution. At this stage we analysed API providers and architectural design, too.
Next we designed prototypes, which were used to validate core ideas, to understand our future customers better and to shape details and priorities in the first versions of the application. This process, called Product discovery, helped us to visualize and decribe what the web application should be about, thus lowering the risk of focusing on the wrong solution.
Besides full software delivery, we supported creation and managing the product backlog, UX design, and automation testing. We worked as one end-to-end product delivery team with all the competences needed.
